Are you sick of generic medieval towns in your fantasy games? -  Well, I present you some elvish inspired architecture!

The tileset Fantasy Tiles - Elves  was created with RPG Maker MV in mind, so the tiles are 48x48 pixels big, with working autotiles for walls, floors, etc. You are, however, free to use them with another game engine of your choice.

Features:

  • Elven inspired architecture.
  • An addition to the RTP of RPG Maker MV.
  • Includes: Grounds, floors, walls, furniture (shelfs, tables, chairs, beds, a bathtub, toilet, etc…) outdoor decoration (ivy, flowers, trees, benches, street lantern, etc), doors, roofs,...
  • Includes: A2, A3, A4, B, C, D, a character sheet for the doors
  • Especially useful for those, who know how to mix and match tilesets to their personal liking. This skill, however, is not required to use this tileset in the first place!

Included in the download is a rpg maker mv demo project with some maps, most of these can be found on the screenshots. You'll need RPG Maker MV to open the demo files.

After purchase you are free to use these tiles in commercial and non-commercial game projects. Credit would be nice, as spreading the word helps a lot. Thank you.

You are allowed to edit these tiles for personal usage. Uploading them to the internet and/or sharing them with others is not allowed.

Hi! I bought this on Steam but it didn't come with the Sample project (it had the demo files with the tilesets in them, but not the actual demo project file). Is there any way to get the demo project file? Thank you. :)

Oh! I'm sorry to hear. The Steam release is managed by Komodo, not me. Did you buy the MV or MZ version? So I can ask about that.

(I double checked, I handed in example projects for both MV and MZ for people to copy the tileset.)

Oh I see! Okay, I'll definitely reach out to Steam about it, but if Komodo responds to you I'd really appreciate it if you let me know what they say :D (If you need this info, I got it for MZ and I have the demo folder called FantasyTiles_Elves_DEMO within the Fantasy Tiles - Elves folder and it has pretty much everything but not the game project file.) Thank you so much, the tiles are gorgeous and I can't wait to use them!

When you say you don't have a game project file in your folder, do you mean the game.rmmzproject file is missing?

Did you try redownloading? I checked with Komodo and it seemed alright for them at first glanze.

Yes! Just the .rmmzproject file. If there's any way I can prove it I'll try.

I did unclick the DLC on Steam, let it update (so the folder was gone from my files), then re-clicked it so that the folder was redownloaded, but there still wasn't any .rmmzproject there.

Here's a picture of the demo folder with the tileset, but also the demo folder without the .rmmzproject file :0

Sorry that it took a bit. My contact at Komodo says it should be fixed now. Your steam either has already downloaded the update automatically or it should be fine after redownloading if it hasn't automatically. Please let me know if the issue is gone. Thanks :)

I want this, but is a Tiled editor friendly format available?

No. It was created for the use with RPGMaker, so you'd probably have to edit the sheets yourself to make them work with Tiled. (I'm not familiar with how the layout would need to be, but I guess the autotiles would not work as they are setup now.)

I bought the tileset, and I want to know if I have permission to edit/redraw the tiles as I see fit.

Also, I'd like to know if sharing between artists whom I commission is allowed.

Edits are allowed for usage within your project. You aren't allowed to share or sell the edited assets.

I'm ok with you handing the files to a commissioned artist for them to work with those files. They aren't allowed to use the art assets (original or edited) on their own project (they'd need to buy their own license for that) and are not allowed to sell the edits they made as an asset pack, to other clients, or in whichever other way. ;3

Do you plan to make more tilesets in this styl?

These are awesome.

Thank you! I'm glad you like them.

Wow, a fresh new style! Goooood work!

Thank you! It also should look pretty ok next to MVs RTP.

Nice tiles. :)

Thank you! =3
